Robin Goodrich graduated from Sidney High School in 1984. She earned her BS in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, her MS as a Nurse Specialist from Western Connecticut State University, and her Ed.D in Organization and Leadership from Columbia University Teachers College. She also furthered her education at Cornell University, where she earned her Executive Leadership Certificate.
Dr. Robin Goodrich practiced for 26 years as an RN in level III newborn intensive care, and then used her knowledge and skills to advance nursing education, specifically through her role as an education administrator. She emerged as a leader in the development and implementation of highly successful programs in the field of nursing education.
Robin served as an Undergraduate Nursing Program Coordinator during her tenure as a full time faculty member in the Department of Nursing at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury. She was also the Vice President, and thenDirector, of the Nursing Education Alumni Association at Columbia University, where she was elected to the Hall of Fame of Nursing Education Alumni Association. She was named "Nurse Exemplar" at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT.
Robin served as the Associate Dean at Davenport University in Michigan, and is currently President of the North Brunswick, New Jersey Campus of Chamberlain University College of Nursing. Dr. Goodrich's primary responsibility is for strategic direction, to achieve academic and operational goals. She launched in a new market, exceeding enrollment and financial projections within two years of campus launch, while achieving superior academic outcomes. In July 2015, Dr. Goodrich received the Chamberlain College of Nursing Extraordinary Campus Launch Award.
According to Keville Frederickson, Professor and founding Director, PhD Program, Lienhard School of Nursing, Pace University, "Robin was appointed as President and CEO at Chamberlain University School of Nursing in New Brunswick, a new campus which provided an option especially for non-traditional students to pursue nursing education. As Campus President, Dr. Goodrich provides academic, fiscal, and operational oversight of a growing campus. She leads a comprehensive, all-campus model of student success. Her experience in campus development has enabled effective communication across groups and stakeholders, relationship building, market profile and branding, which has yielded enrollment growth, a supportive Board of Trustees and successful accreditation."
Dr. Goodrich has published many papers in a variety of professional journals and periodicals. She was elected to the New York State Academy of Medicine in 2018.
