The Sidney High School Class of 1971 will be holding its 45th reunion on July 15th and 16th, 2016. We are hoping you will attend and that we will get a big turnout, particularly from those of you who live farther away and have not been back in a long time.
We have scheduled two events: a Friday night get together at the Main Street 88 Tavern from 6 to 9 P.M. with a cash bar and a contribution of $5.00 per head toward appetizers. On Saturday, there is the March of Classes on the football field and the other normal all-class reunion events.
We have reserved the Covered Bridge Gardens from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. for a Saturday Class of '71 get together with food from Brooks Brothers BBQ. The cost of this $20 per head and adult beverages will be BYOB. We do need to place a correct sized order with Brooks and checks by July 1.

I salute Tom, Cookie, and Tony for taking up the task of putting this together! I will be attending! If there is anything I can help with from Sunny Fla please let me know! I won't be attending, but I am amazed that Roger Shofkom somehow connected w/ my brother and he forwarded me this information. So thanks to all for connecting and being remembered, especially since I've never attended even one.
little update on my life for anyone interested;
I live in Rochester. Alot has changed in my life since my crazy days at Sidney. By the grace of God I am now a born again Christian , asking Jesus to forgive my sins, come into my heart and life, and be my Lord and Savior. Were it not for God's grace bringing me to Himself there's no telling where I would have been now. I attend a church by the name of Victory, and as a matter of interest, they train men (and women if they want to ) for mma cage fights. I went to watch and support them at a mma fight that was held in Rochester last night. Check out our website victory.com and check the calendar for all the things that they do monthly. Lots!
So if you are in Rochester and want to attend a church that loves God and loves people, and has lots to do, drop in! and or if you'd like to hear any of pastor Paul's messages without stepping into "a church" you can hear his message on line, you will probably be surprised and keep listening.
Take care all of you, and Tom - it's amazing you connected w my brother! you must have and enjoy those analytical skills. Have a fun reunion!
